1. What we collect
Account details you give us: name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash) and optional team name.
Content you create: workspaces, boards, lists, cards, comments, attachments and activity history.
Basic technical data needed to keep the service secure, such as IP address for rate limiting failed logins.
2. How we use it
To run Taskr for you and your workspace: showing your boards, sending notifications you ask for, password reset and verification emails, and replying when you contact us.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
3. Where it is stored
Taskr is self-hosted on this site. Your data is stored in this site’s database and file storage and is not copied to outside analytics or advertising services by Taskr.
4. Who can see it
Members of a workspace can see the boards in that workspace. Site administrators can access data to operate and support the service. We share data with others only when required by law.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and protect forms from forgery. We do not use tracking cookies in the app.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can export boards at any time and ask us to delete your account and personal data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request.
8. Security
We protect accounts with hashed passwords, login rate limiting, request nonces and workspace isolation. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app or by email.
